The JAZ Collection Jewelry Line is designed and launched by two Columbia University students. It's mission is to inspire confidence in the beauty of every girl, every woman. Each piece is hand crafted and has its own story. From the young ambition of Columbia University, the elegant streets of Upper East Side, the lights of Times Square, the 18th century gown at the Metropolitan, or the galleries in Chelsea, this collection brings the essence and story of each instance to life, embodied in these precious jewels.The JAZ Collection hand-crafted jewelery builds off a foundation in sustainable development. JAZ Collection presents a green collection of jewelry with the Tibet Collection. The Tibet Collection comes from and gives back to a community of local, female villagers who crafted the pieces. JAZ hopes to empower a community of women, buyers and makers alike. The JAZ Collection also maintains a key partnership with the an orphanage and school, the Congo Hope School, as a show of commitment to the sustainability and education in developing communities from which raw jewels come. A cut of the proceeds from each piece purchased will go to providing shelter and medicine to the orphans living in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.As Coco Chanel said, "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous."
