In 17 years, the association Jazz à Porquerolles has become a festive and essential actor of jazz in France and internationally through its events- The Jazz Festival in Porquerolles, essential event combining prestige, conviviality and inventiveness, with the sea for horizon and music as heart. Created by Archie Shepp and Aldo Romano, Jazz in Porquerolles.- The jazz season at the Théâtre Denis in Hyères, a place and a program dedicated to jazz and improvised music all year round.- Les Impromptus, a concert series organized all year long at the Toulon Hotel des Arts, as part of the exhibitions.- The Jazz Springboard, a competition open to young talents from the south east of France.- Cultural actions with specific audiences.
