Established since 19 October 1969, JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes 香港女青年商會, being the first Lady Chapter in Asia and the second Lady Chapter in the world, has aspired to care for its members and the community, and inspired many young ladies to create positive changes. For 46 years, it had hosted Asia-Pacific Conference in 1979 and was awarded the world's most outstanding Local Chapter, with well-known projects such as "Against Child Abuse Campaign" in the 80's, the "Cyber Children Weight Control Program" , the "Hong Kong Master of Ceremony Competition", the "Care and Dare" , the first Hong Kong Young Social Entrepreneur Contest and many more. Our theme in 2016 is "Bond to Influence, Empower for Excellence". We are determined to stage a platform of impact. We believe that the stronger our bonding and togetherness, the more we can achieve. Together, we create positive changes, endeavour to be influential, and ultimately, to empower others to do the same. To realise our vision, the chapter, riding on the success of past years, will continue to empower youngsters by enriching the first-ever Hong Kong Young Social Entrepreneur Contest initiated in 2015, also as to further encourage social innovation and social awareness to the community. To attract even more young female elites to join our troop as active citizens, we will not only reach out to renowned female elites in the community hoping to inspire more young ladies, but also double the effort in addressing social situations with an emphasis on female-related issues e.g. breastfeeding awareness and beyond. The running of Jayceettes Academy will also be continued so that opportunities of personal development to members are ensured. With on-going exchange and project collaborations, we are ready to further reinforce and foster the close ties with sister chapters and friendship pacts. We look forward to creating more enjoyable and unforgettable moments with all our members.
