Founded in 2012 by Jorge Diego Etienne, the studio has developed a flexible design process that allows it to work on a variety of projects in scale, scope and objectives. We work with companies in Mexico and abroad on specific products for commercial release, conceptual exploration for new business possibilities, creative direction and design consultancy.Jorge Diego Etienne (Tampico, 1983) is a highly motivated Industrial Designer from Mexico with a global perspective on design. He graduated with a BS in Industrial Design from the Tec de Monterrey in 2009 and his experience includes an insternship at Feiz Design Studio in Amsterdam, workshops with top global design companies and courses at renown design schools like Central Saint Martins in London, Domus Academy in Milan, and Parsons the New School for Design in New York. In 2011 he participated in the exchange program ''Modern Design and Traditional Craftsmanship'' organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Kyoto, Japan where he researched and experimented with the intersection of cultural objects with contemporary products.The studio's work has been featured at important design exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM), Museo de Arte Popular (MAP), National Art Center of Mexico (CENART), Franz Mayer Museum, Centro de las Artes CONARTE, and has exhibited his work at the Contemporary Art/Design fair Zona Maco, Mexico Design Week, Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, the Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño in Madrid and has been widely published around the world.In 2016 and 2017 the studio presented collections at the renown Salone Satellite during the Salone Milan Furniture Fair, as well as Sight Unseen Offsite during NYCxDESIGN in New York May 2017. The studio is interested in promoting design and fostering new talents. Several studio members teach at CEDIM and Jorge Diego at the Tec de Monterrey besides frequently giving lectures and conferences through out Mexico and abroad.
