Debuting in stores in Fall 2014, Pickett is a luxury American design house built with Southern values. Founder and Creative Director Jennifer Pickett, brings Texas roots and chic style to her namesake label. Pickett is designed for the woman enamored by ladylike luxury with a touch of irreverence, elegance and style.Flirtatious designs, ultra-feminine silhouettes and intricate details are all key to the Pickett collection, which is designed for the woman who has exquisite taste, enjoys afternoon tea, girl's nights out and dress up date nights. Silhouettes include: fit-and-flare dresses, tailored pants, box fit single-breasted jackets, the signature dirndl skirt, and others. Pickett's mix and match wool patterns and embroidered silks can be worn from day to evening. For example, a soft silk fuschia pink dress with full skirt can be paired with a black leather jacket for day and dressed up with a brocade jacket for evening.Growing up in Texas, Jennifer's pursuits in design were influenced by a trinity of inspirational women: her Mother, Aunt, and grandmother, all of who encouraged her to act and dress as a lady should with attention to detail, manners, family values, and demure dressing, all instilled at a young age. Jennifer's grandmother, a self-taught seamstress, created one-of-a-kind dresses for her granddaughter complete with custom labels marked "Made with Love." In homage to her grandmother, every Pickett design includes a label with those same words.
