Blending folk, gospel, soul and latin grooves comes naturally for up-and-coming performer Jesse Mitchell who recently supported Pete Murray and Thirsty Merc. Jesse has been impressing crowds ever since he stepped onto the scene in 2009 with acclaimed single 'Fingertips'. Launched to a sold out 'Manchester Lane' he then went on to tour the UK and Australia's East-coast including Byron Bay and Brisbane. He has performed live on Channel 31, Crow FM, Southern FM, Yarra Valley FM and 3MDR and and at the St Kilda Festival, High Vibes Festival, Warrandyte Festival, Northcote Social Club and a host of leading venues. 'Surfing Paradise', his latest album, released in Dec 2011 is a positive and inspiring retelling of his travels through Latin America. Jesse remarks '...inspired by the tender tales of love, the lively latin beats, the optimism and... well the music just flowed.' In 2010 he was awarded runner-up for Best Singer-songwriter in the MUSIC OZ AWARDS for folk ballad 'My Own Two Feet'.
