Which provides you with a committed and devoted conference and events team to accommodate all your hospitality needs.Jesus College was established between 1496 and 1516 on what used to be the twelfth-century Benedictine nunnery of St Mary and St Radegund by John Alcock, then Bishop of Ely. The chapel, which is used for weddings, chapel services and many more events is the oldest university building in Cambridge, and predates the foundation of the college by 350 years.Jesus offers a wide selection of conference and event facilities, ranging from buildings that date back to the twelfth century to modern award-winning architecture, intimate private dining rooms, to historic meetings rooms with modern AV facilities to the impressive main college hall. It is a College of contrasts, which can be a perfect venue for many occasions.In May 2017 Jesus College opened its brand new conference centre, West Court. It creates an outstanding home for academic meetings, conferences, lectures and debates. As well as providing a beautiful dining room for celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and gala dinners. The multi-functional lecture hall is equipped with the latest communications technology seating up to 150 delegates. There is also luxury hotel standard bedrooms which are available all year round to business and leisure guests. West Court also offers it's very own café and bar with a pavilion for stunning views of the grounds with adjoining terraces.The most recent development within West Court is the extension of our Forum building which now houses a new cafeteria, our Forum hall which can hold a capacity of 150 and our Forum Upper Hall with a capacity of 72, both rooms are excellent additions to the college and can play host to any lunch or dinner event along with conference/academic meetings thanks to its integrated AV facilities.
