Jet Set Films was established in February 2011 as a Private Limited Company. Currently nearing the end of production on their first feature length film, a 3D Documentary entitled '1 Way Up' which tells the story of The Peckham BMX Club who despite training on a quarter sized track, between rival gang areas and in the shadow of tower blocks have 8 British Champions, 7 National Champions and 2 boys on The Olympic Development Squad. Jet Set Films are working with the Oscar Nominated documentary film production company Shine Global www.shineglobal.org to bring the film to a wide audience and raise awareness of the plight of children from Peckham, South East London, one of the most deprived areas in the UK that suffers from a very high level of gun, gang and knife crime. Rather then dwell on the bad stories '1 Way Up' is a positive life-affirming underdog story.The film is being shot with a cinematic eye and configured for a 3D theatrical release with a strong musical score featuring established and emerging artists.
