JIGG is a London based social enterprise, founded by Dr Claudette Carr who is also the organisations Executive Director. At JIGG we build on our expertise in the field of international community development, and our values are underpinned by the principles of social justice and good community governance. We bridge the gap between communities and public sector professionals and challenge global poverty through sustainable, strategic partnerships based on mutual exchange and respect. We believe that excellence in public leadership and community governance is the stuff that sustainable communities are made of. JIGG consultants, researchers and community development practitioners have many years of experience and sound practice in the fields of participatory research, policy analysis, governance, community development, international development and community leadership. Drawing upon a range of approaches, from assest based to community-driven and faith based community development, we assess need and apply appropriate methods of intervention to maximise community transformation.
