My name is Gwen and I am a registered nurse working at a hospital in Northern California. Passionate about my work and seeing a dire need for an improvement in wound care, I have created a business aimed at pressure injury reduction for immobile patients being cared for both in hospitals and at home. My company has created multiple bedsore prevention cushions that are hugely beneficial and unique in their ability to help prevent and heal bedsores for patients at risk. As a nurse of 15 years, I understand first-hand the challenges of taking care of bed-bound patients and I understand the reality of caregiving. Using this experience and knowledge when creating my cushions, I have made products that take into consideration both the caregiver as well as the patient.Jewell Nursing Solutions is a company dedicated to the prevention of injuries associated with immobility.
