The Jewish Social & Athletics Club, Inc. ("JSAC") is a non-profit organization devoted to PROGRAMMING, NETWORKING, and COMMUNITY OUTREACH community outreach, programming, and networking for families with special needs children.PROGRAMMINGJSAC has plans of both creating, and affiliating programming opportunities in cities nationwide. JSAC will continually work on the development of new programs needed in certain communities, and will strive to fill gaps in programming requests. In circumstances when certain programming does not exist, JSAC will work hard to create sustainable opportunities to meet the request. JSAC will also reach out to existing special needs programs in hopes of joining forces to create an even wider array of opportunities for families with special needs children.NETWORKINGOne of the main goals of JSAC is to create a network for communication amongst families with special needs children. Sharing the commonality of having a child with special needs creates the opportunity for a friendship involving mutual understanding and respect for the hardships faced. JSAC hopes to provide the opportunity for parents to network together, and share information and family practices that otherwise would not be accessible. COMMUNITY OUTREACHOne of the core values of JSAC is to focus on the social, mental, and physical development of those with special needs. We will strive to provide this opportunity to our members, and will actively partner with other organizations and community leaders in hosting a variety of events year around. JSAC will focus on events to create bonding experiences with both families with specials needs children, as well as families without special needs children. We hope JSAC will also serve as a platform for members of the community without special needs to get involved and give back to their community through volunteer opportunities and shared events.
