Jiangxi HD New Energy is dedicated to R&D of advanced cell/battery pack technologies and providing effective solutions for new energy field. With more than 20 years R&D experience and core technologies of secondary lithium battery materials,cells,battery management system(BMS) and machines, HD develops and produces li-ion battery cells and packs for electric vehicle and energy storage applications. HD has a strong R&D team which has been involved in national projects including 863 EV key project since 2001. Battery and packs were supplied to power nearly 200 new energy vehicles for 2008 Beijing Olymic and 2010 Shanghai Expo. Its Hi-power battery was used for HEV bus and each the buses have run more than half million kilometers. In2001, HD exported LiFePO4 battery to France for MIA electric car and they are running in several cities for more than 5 years in car share mode. HD R&D and production headquater was established in 2014 at the airport economic district in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. The new factory for HD battery system in Shanghai was put into operation in 2015. In2016, the factory for cell manufacturing was put into production. HD is dedicted to supply advanced batteries and services for new energy applications with its innovation.
