JIDOP stands for ''Justice Initiative for the Disadvantaged and Oppressed Persons''AIMS & OBJECTIVES:1. To assist in enhancing access to justice by all irrespective of nationality, religion, creed or tribe2. To assist in deepening constitutional democracy in Africa by encouraging participation of both the physically and educationally challenged persons during elections3. To assist in enhancing participatory democracy through voter education and enlightenment4. To participate in election monitoring as a means of improving credibility of elections and reducing election related violence in Africa5. To encourage the disadvantaged and oppressed persons to participate in electoral processes in Africa6. To engage in all other activities that are incidental to the achievement of the objectives of the initiative7. To solicit for and support the empowerment of the disadvantaged and oppressed persons through scholarships and business support programs8. To solicit for, receive and distribute items of charity, donations and grants to the disadvantaged and oppressed persons9. To engage in and support all efforts and activities that are designed to facilitate the enforcement of human rights of the disadvantaged and oppressed persons10. To support all efforts, programs and policies of governments designed to fight corruption, financial crimes, fraud and other forms criminality that ultimately bear on the welfare and well being of the disadvantaged and oppressed persons
