Jimmy Carpenter, saxophonist, songwriter, arranger, vocalist, and recording artist, is living and working in New Orleans. With 30 years as a pro musician, he has been involved in nearly every aspect of the music biz: performance, recording, touring, booking and management. While performing daily with some of New Orleans' best, he is also busy scoring horn arrangments for many locally recorded releases, including Eric Lindell, Honey Island Swamp Band, and Walter "Wolfman" Washington. His solo CD, "Toiling in Obscurity" is charted nationally and available at his website.
