WHO ARE WE ?«Jiw» in Wolof means the seed, «Nit» the human. This metaphore puts an image to our mission: to seed Humanity all over the world.The association JiwNit is born from the meeting of a dozen people from all over the world, wishing to assemble their energy in a global project. JiwNit is an association which supports the environmental, cultural, ecologic, educational and social projects, rethinking in development and valuing the intercultural and spiritual exchange.ABOUT KAMYAAK PROJECTThe village of Kamyaak is the first project of JiwNit.Where? In the Kamyaak village, 122 km from the capital city Dakar, in Sénégal.What?A true humanitarian project of society, sustainable and local development, carrying the fight for the well-being, dignity, and empowerment of disadvantaged communities by locals, for locals and the rest of the world, in order to find solutions for current challenges that our world is facing. Why?At the time of the challenges posed by social injustices, poverty, knowledge, exodus, this project helps to think about how to arrive at solutions that certain spheres are not able to give. How?The project leader also intends to make it a site of education, professional work in organic farming, the installation and implementation of renewable energy by creating local job opportunities and through spiritual training.
