Aviation & Aerospace - Edison, New Jersey, United States
The JJPL (Junior Jet Propulsion Lab), founded by Aarush Kukreja, Aryan Gupta, and Gokul Elangovan, is an interdisciplinary club dedicated to the analysis and practical application of engineering, science, technology, and aeronautics towards space exploration and travel. The club consists of two competition divisions, Model Rocketry and Aero-Tech, and a Community Outreach division. The two competition divisions consist of teams that participate in their respective competitions, such as national model rocketry (The American Rocketry Challenge, The Spaceport American Cup, etc.) or aero-tech competitions (NASA, SpaceX, etc.). The Community Outreach division encourages and facilitates an interest in the community about JJPL's mission. In short, JJPL provides a platform for real-world implementation for anyone looking to pursue the core subjects of the club as endeavors in the future, along with real-world competitions to drive experience in these fields.
