Japan Karate Association Norway (JKA Norway) is recognized as the only authoritative body for JKA Karate in Norway. The mission of JKA Norway is "Protecting the values and traditions of Karate-do".JKA Norway has adapted the unique and comprehensive educational system for instructors, graders and judges in Karate-do developed by its mother organization The Japan Karate Association (JKA) for Norwegian use. The Chief Instructor of JKA Norway is Geir Arild Larsen sensei, 7th dan, JKA.With a membership of approximately 2500 members, affiliated clubs can be found many places in Norway.
