Since forming JLC Partners, our objectives have remained the same:• To establish a personalized process to help ensure that the mineral seller receives the highest market value for their property.• To be an Advocate for the mineral seller in all phases of the marketing, selling, and closing of the mineral property transaction – we work for the mineral seller, and• Whenever possible, we focus on serving the elder mineral owner to eliminate any possibility of unfair advantage due to a lack of experienced counsel.We have always wanted to bring more efficiency to the selling and buying of mineral interests. Mineral sellers typically do not have the time or experience to manage the inefficient, auction-like process that currently exists. Likewise, many mineral buyers, like you and your company, don't like the auction style and often call it a "bidding war". Add to that, impersonal auction websites, aggressive representatives from some oil companies, and little if any industry and regulatory controls on buying and selling mineral interests.
