J.McLaughlin Details
J.McLaughlin was founded in 1977 by brothers Jay and Kevin McLaughlin with a mission to create a new American sportswear brand that offers two key components: classic clothes with current relevance and a retail environment with a neighborhood feel. Their first store, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, set the tone for the brand’s subsequent development. Since then, the brand has open more than 150 retail stores across the United States. No two stores are alike; instead, they reflect the brand’s respect for regional individuality. Each shop’s design is unique, to match the town’s color, character, and architecture. True to the vision of the McLaughlin brothers, the stores have a warmly residential feel and exemplary customer service. “Being a good neighbor” is central to the brand’s approach to business, and J.McLaughlin values being a welcome and active member of each community in which it operates. The company also operates an e-commerce business showcasing their full assortment of women and men's clothing and accessories. J.McLaughlin is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York.
