Jo Turner is a psychotherapist/counsellor, working in private practice since 2013. Jo uses the psychodynamic method of counselling clients (which explores presenting issues and makes links with unconscious connections and past experiences). Supporting clients by providing insight and interpretation, Jo believes that finding time to talk and think about our feelings and thoughts can help us to make sense of the complexities of our human relationships and challenging life events. Trained and qualified at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, London in 2010, Jo has worked with couples and individuals over the past 8 years, offering psychodynamic therapy, specialising in relationship issues. Jo was a member of the organisation until July 2013, working as part of the T.C.C.R.'s voluntary counselling team. Offering a service within her local area of Wiltshire and West Berkshire, Jo provides a safe and confidential space for clients to talk through and gain insight into their relationship dilemmas. Jo currently works at several locations, namely; Newbury and Marlborough at the Wendy Bramham Therapy Clinic; Swindon at The Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre.Jo attained a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation in London in 2003. Following on from this, Jo chose to undertake specialised training in couples psychodynamic therapy and joined the training programme at the renowned organisation, the T.C.C.R in 2004, graduating with a Post Graduate Diploma in Marital Therapy in March 2010. As an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy since September 2012, Jo adheres to the code of conduct and ethical practices of the B.A.C.P.
