jobs4refugees is a charitable organisation, which was founded end of 2015 in Berlin. Our aim is to help refugees find work and apprenticeships. The idea is to allow them to parttake in our society self-determinedly. We believe that taking up work is a decisive step towards a successful integration. We conduct personal interviews with the refugees in German, English, French and Arabic to find out about their skills and motivation. Among other things, we help with writing application documents and aim to help understand the German application process and lower cultural barriers. At the same time, we work with companies and suggest potential candidates to them. We support employers with their questions on employing refugees. We remain in contact with both parties after work has been taken up, in order to ensure a sustainable working relation.
