I have lived in the Maitland area for most of my life and I operate the business with my wife, Michelle. We are both committed to providing services which focus on the needs of people in the Hunter area. Since establishing the business in 2013 we have been very grateful to have the opportunity to assist hundreds of individuals, families and organisations, and we look forward to continuing well into the future. I graduated from a local High School in the mid- 1990's before studying Psychology at the University of Newcastle. Since then I had the opportunity to provide psychological services for a number of organisations before establishing Jon Grainger Psychology in 2013. Along the way I completed the Master of Clinical Psychology program at the University of Newcastle and have now worked as a registered Psychologist for over a decade. My professional interests are psychological processes over the life span, families, trauma, positive psychology and health. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, running, music, and yoga.
