My big passion is helping students who get bullied. 84% of Australian students will experience bullying with 27% experiencing it weekly. It remains the number one reason students ‘wag' school. Students often suffer in silence not waiting to bring attention to himself in fear it could be made worst. Australian bully survey 2017 showed the number one reason for not reporting bullying was; "Stigma, embarrassment and fear of being seen as ‘weak'. Bullying has been proven to stopped in so many ways yet the students that need the advice often don't seek it out. How, then do you give them life charging advice without conducting a school survey, singling out individuals, or waiting for something ‘bad' to happen before anything gets done? A school presentation. A school presentations is the fastest way to get every student on the same page. Often just awareness & understanding around the subject of bullying & its effects can change students ideas by itself. Research has shown that the number one way to decrease bullying in schools is to create culture change; when the larger group discourages the act all together. No.2 is helping the individual student with piratical strategies and role playing to show how to not react but respond to a bully without offense. No.3 is talking to bullies themselves; the consciences, the short and long term outcomes of their actions.
