Jordan Michael Filler Foundation ("JMFF"), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was founded in 2014. It was formed by the Filler Family when they lost their 23 year old son, Jordan, to a heroin overdose. The Foundation's goal is to save children from substance abuse. Through educating children and their parents, primarily through schools; working with federal legislators to improve privacy laws to enable treatment providers to work more closely with an addict's family; offering 24/7 support in our community; and implementing a program called "text a tip," which provides students an opportunity to anonymously get help for themselves or others, the Foundation will make a difference in the prevention and treatment of substance abuse (including heroin).
