The postal Saving Fund is an independent government institution specialized in saving and financing works that exercises its activities according to the provisions of Law No. (34) of 1966 and its amendments. Its mission is accepting saving deposits and return them back to their owners in accordance with the provisions of this law. The Fund launched its saving and financing works on 1/9/1974 within a framework that fulfills its corporate values represented in: transparency, distinction and confidentiality.The Fund provides citizens with financial banking services through its branches in governorates (Irbid and Zarqa), in addition to post offices throughout the Kingdom where they offer services for savers to open saving pass-book accounts, as well as withdrawal and deposit services to and from those books. It also launched purchase funding procedures for consumption goods and completed all required documents. This comes from the Fund's administration's belief in the necessity of facilitating and simplifying procedures for citizens, as well as including a larger section of beneficiaries benefitting from the funding services provided by the Fund. The Fund does its best to promote the level of the provided services by introducing computerized systems and qualified cadres that offer services to visitors efficiently and effectively.
