Nonprofit Organization Management - Atlanta, Georgia, United States
Joshua's Closet International is a 501c-3 non-profit organization for parenting teenage parents. We provide necessities, service, trainings, and encouragement that will aid in improving the life of the teen mother, father, and their child. Some of the classes that we offer include healthy relationships, financial literacy, CPR certification, healthy food choices, goal setting, and job place readiness. Our goal is to become an indispensable part of every life that we touch here at Joshua's Closet. Joshua's Closet International was founded in 2008, in Atlanta, by Keiana Raven, who was then a high school freshman. Her passion for teenage pregnancy derived from her own person story. Although she became a parent at a young age, she did not let her circumstance deter her from her goals. Keiana desires to show other teenage mothers that they do not have to give up on their dreams and goals, there is still hope for the future.
