The population of the continent of Europe is around eight hundred million, yet for most of its inhabitants, an in-depth knowledge of anything more than one or two countries is uncommon, despite the overwhelming majority of people expressing a healthy curiosity about other nations, their peoples, and cultures. The aim of the Journal of Europe is to sharpen the edge of that curiosity by providing an illuminating and intimate portrait of our continent. It will bring its readers on a multifaceted journey throughout Europe and will be an organ of inspiration, encouragement, and promotion of economic, scientific, educational, and cultural collaborations and exchange. The journal also aims to energise its readers so that they may take an active role in developing, advancing, and maintaining cross-cultural relations. While classed as a current affairs and international publication, each monthly issue will feature a diverse range of subjects from politics, economics, business & finance, industry & technology to medicine & science, health, arts, and travel & culture. The vision of the journal is to be arrestingly insightful in its features and the pictures they paint of the dynamism of our continent. With the authorship of the monthly features vested in subject matter experts from each represented country and with many features being peer reviewed, we are fully confident that the editorial will be lucid, authoritative, and highly informative.
