Publishing - San Diego, California, United States
Originally under the name Falconium, Journal of Youths in Science was founded when students at Torrey Pines High School noticed a gap in mainstream science publications. Although there were plenty of science journals available for professional researchers, as well as science articles written for lay audiences, there was nothing available for high school students who had already begun their science educations and wanted to broaden their knowledge. Additionally, most magazines were not published by young adults, so there was no way for high school students to access the publication process from a scientific viewpoint. We hope that through JOURNYS we can create a platform that promotes curiosity and discovery, one that connects and inspires young scientists across the world.
