Journeys for Good tells stories about finding yourself through helping others. Traveling to give back, volunteers begin to see the world and themselves differently. Working shoulder to shoulder with the local people of a deserving community, the volunteers gain insight and awareness. They begin as strangers but find humanity and commonality. They build connections and break down perceived barriers. They return home with insights that will inform their everyday lives and the lives they envision for themselves, their communities, their world. ORIGINAL BROADCAST/WEB SERIES: Created by multiple Emmy and Telly award-winning husband and wife team Steve and Joanie Wynn, Journeys for Good© is a travel series like no other.Each original program features a group of everyday heroes who offer their sweat equity as a way to connect and give back. From Cambodia to India, Namibia to New York, each immersive service project stems from the needs of local nonprofits. Working to benefit children, animals or the environment-- traveling as an individual, family or as part of an organization -- there are opportunities for everyone to give back. Volunteers and locals work together for change and, though the change may sometimes seem small, the connections made are meaningful and memorable, across countries and across cultures.
