J.P. Peach and Associates is an umbrella organization for John Peach's consulting work. With his diverse talents the nature of the work has been varied. We have done consulting work in the fields of ergonomics, occupational biomechanics, statistics, mechanical design, training; to name but a few. The majority of the focus has been on two areas: training and software development. The types of software development has been as diverse as the founder's skills. With an impressive assortment of languages and technologies we develop custom software solutions for industry and research. We specialize in biomechanics / biomedical software; data acquisition and analysis; and relational database management systems. We also develop web applications under linux and perform system and network administration. The training has focused on individual and group tutoring of undergraduate and graduate students in Mechanical Engineering in over 30 different courses. Internationally trained engineers use our services to prepare for professional licensure examinations. In addition to tutoring we have developed several intensive "crash" courses to prepare students for final examinations. These 16-hour courses focus on the core material that will be covered on the final examination and includes a mock exam to measure the student's level of preparedness and build confidence in their skills.
