Welcome to Judo Western Australia (Inc.).We practice our sport in one of the most isolated places on earth. However, our passion, dedication and love of Judo keep us motivated to spread the gospel.As one of the smallest Judo states in Australia (for now), we have committed ourselves to further the awareness, membership and participation of our sport both within the metropolitan area as well as our extremely large and extended country areas.In this we have the advantage that Judo is governed by one single International organisation, the International Judo Federation, as well as the charters of the International Olympic Committee. We are a proud affiliate of all major sporting bodies in Australia.Judo in Western Australia truly reflects the international migrant population that is so typical of Australia in general. We have a large group of coaches and players that have honed their skills and talents in the international arena. These influences make for an exciting and experienced mix and bode well for the future of judo in our state. Whether you are here on holiday as a tourist, an experienced international player or a beginner that just wants to have a go, there is a club near you that caters for your needs.You will find the hospitality and friendliness of the West Australians to be warm, welcoming and easy going. There are no airs and graces to contend with.
