Since 1853, Blüthner pianos have been exclusively manufactured in Leipzig, Germany. To this day, the Blüthner family of craftsman and entrepreneurs continues to head the Blüthner firm and personally oversee the production of each piano bearing their name. They carry on the legacy of the founder, Julius Blüthner, to build the best pianos in the world. Through the unique, captivating sound of the Golden Tone, the Blüthner instrument has been honored to receive the adoration of some of the world's finest composers and musicians throughout the generations. Many of the most beloved works of masters such as Claude Debussy, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Anton Bruckner, Gustav Mahler, Sergei Prokofiev, and Dmitri Shostakovich were realized at the bench of a Blüthner piano. In modern times, these ranks are joined by both The Beatles and Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber.
