These test probes are used to help diagnose electrical problems in vehicles. They provide a means to connect test equipment to individual wires inside connector bodies found in the vehicle wiring harness.These probes consist of 4" long wires with male (pins) or female (sockets) on one end of the wire, and a common female spade terminal on the other end of the wire. The pins and sockets are the exact mating ends to fit the terminals found inside many common automotive electrical connectors.The common end of the wire (female spade end) is then connected to a long lead that has a banana plug on the opposite end that fits multimeters and scopes.The advantages of using a Jumperkit are as follows:•Using the correct mating pin or socket insures that you are not damaging the terminals in the connector body.
