Junior Council supports the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Established in 1988, the program cares for more children and adolescents than any other pediatric HIV service in the region. Junior Council's mission is to support the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program and ensure all children with HIV/AIDS, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to high-quality pediatric healthcare.Junior Council's 100% volunteer board consists of 16 Board of Directors and 140+ Members. The directors and members are a group of young professionals living in and around the Chicagoland area pooling their resources and talents to support the organization's common interest. Over the past 30 years, Junior Council has raised over $2,000,000 for the hospital. Junior Council hosts a variety of events throughout the year, but their signature event is Snowball.
