Our Mission is to promote interest in philanthropic, educational, charitable, and civic conditions of Concord and its surrounding community and to offer efficient volunteer service to recognized charitable organizations. As an all-women's organization with a mission of supporting women and children in crisis, promoting volunteerism, and improving the community through civic service and leadership, we bring the strength of women and the power of community to make a difference in the lives of women and children in crisis in the greater Concord area.Each year the JSL invests thousands of hours to community agencies and programs. Last year, over 30 League members provided over 2,000 volunteer hours to civic projects and programs. Over the last several years the JSL has also raised over $50,000 to help families needing medical or financial assistance, and organizations who share the same mission.
