Founded in 2008, JUSTICIA is a non-profit civil association that provides advice to governmental and non-governmental organisations. In addition, JUSTICIA conducts research, prepares studies, and publishes on a variety of subjects. It also designs and implements programs that further democratic values and human rights. Our goals:- Promote the rule of law in Lebanon and the Arab Countries.- Increase access to justice by working to improve the legal system and providing rights education.- Advocate for reforms that eradicate corruption, result in the government becoming more transparent, and increase civil liberties.- Encourage positive relations between Muslims and Christians and work to advance the rights of women under the personal status law.- Improve the relationship between citizens and the government.- Support the efforts of governmental and non-governmental organisations to advance human rights.Founders and Officers:Dr. Paul Morcos, Attorney at Law, is JUSTICIA's president. He is also the founder of JUSTICIA Beirut Consult Law Offices (www.justiciabc.com) and a law professor at the American University of Beirut, the Lebanese University, and La Sagesse University.Me. Mohamad El Hajj is JUSTICIA's vice president. Me. El Hajj is a researcher in the fields of law and human rights. He is also the notary public of Tyre, Lebanon.Antoine Dib Loutfi is JUSTICIA's treasurer. Mr. Loutfi is the credit officer at a Lebanese bank. Rose Ibrahim Abrahamian is a founding member of JUSTICIA. Ms. Abrahamian is a university lecturer and senior analyst in the banking sector.Haytham Farook El Ajam is a founding member of JUSTICIA. He is also a journalist, an economic analyst, and an economic and social rights consultant.Rawand Abou Khouzam is the PR & Media Coordinator at JUSTICIA. Mrs. Abou Khouzam holds a degree in Media Communications and has a broad experience in the field.
