In August of 1989, John W. Wisner established his company named J. W. Wisner Inc. Based in Tucson, Arizona, J.W. Wisner Inc. is also operated by John W. Wisner III, a fourth generation family member in the business. At this time, we were not only working for all of the mines and smelters in the southwest, but were now also working for all of the traders that were buying and selling the marketable concentrates in the southwest. We were recognized internationally as leaders in representation (weighing and sampling) of ores, concentrates, metals and precious metals.Our next expansion came when we started working at smelters in Central and Northern US, Canada, Peru and Chile. We expanded from just working at the receiving smelters to working at all of the ports that received and exported concentrates and metals the South West, Northern US, Canada, Mexico, Peru and Chile. The ports we worked with were Corpus Christi, Houston, NOLA, Vancouver WA., Vancouver B C, Montreal, Guaymas Mex., Tampico Mex, Veracruz, Mex., Ilo Peru, Callao Peru, Antofagasta Chile Etc. We have worked at various ports in China at the height of the last copper boom from 2005 to 2009.We have been in business for over 24 years. We are currently working in the U. S., Mexico and Canada.
