As a mixed medium artist, I am recognized for my unusual combination of textures and materials particularly the mix of shattered glass and carved wood that evoke deeper feelings in the viewer. I use recycled and rough-milled woods that carry the dirt and scars of their history with them, and glass that comes from shattered windshields and bus shelters, and brings along its own story. I make also make jewelry whose focal stones come from the shores of Lake Superior.MY ART REPRESENTS THE LIGHT THAT SHINES THROUGH EVERYTHING It is an expression of the spark that graces us in even our darkest days.
