I am an independent sales & marketing professional specialising in integration, marketing and management. I work to bring together multi-divisional teams to help increase productivity, efficiency, sales flow and ROI. My strong marketing background combined with my diverse project management skills allow me to work on a variety of tasks within the scope of strategic and business planning, brand management, creative marketing campaigns (both traditional and digital) as well as budget forecasting, tracking and reporting. Essentially I can integrate programs and processes to bridge gaps and increase sales. I will make sure your brand standards are upheld, and will probably work to bring those standards even higher. I will manage the project from start to finish; from the initial start up and planning to the final report on costs and success factors. So what's in a name? It all started with my initials... KK... and evolved into K2. Reasons? Plenty! Some felt the "KK" left a lingering feeling that there would be a third "K"; not very PC. Others liked the reference to the mountain in the Himalayas. The math brains liked that it was "K" to the second power. My work colleagues found having a Kirsten and a Kristen in the same department confusing, so they dubbed us K1 and K2. And what about me? I like that the nickname K2 has stuck, and that throughout my professional network when someone says "K2", everyone knows who they're talking about. Why mess with a good thing?
