In particular way the company makes integrated software applications in the field of thermal technology following the evolution of the ECC technical norms. The company acts besides as a consulting reference on the domestic legislation about the planning and about the whole set of rules in the field of energy savings setting up courses of professional training and modernization. Kadmos has been established in the end of 1993. It derives its origin from the project for publishing in the field of the energy saving. Kadmos.com is a private company 100% owned by the former founders. The Kadmos.com team works in quite close cooperation with other companies and trade partners both in the South and North Italy to perfectly fit the new end-user requirements related to engineering software, Internet and IT consulting. Kadmos.com operates in domestic and international markets distributing its software directly and on the Internet, deploying by itself its e-commerce sites.Kadmos collaborated with ENEA "Italian National Agency for New Technology, Energy and the Environment" developing the software : "ECOLUX - Energetic and Economic Appraisal of Lighting Systems"Why the name Kadmos?It actually derives from the transcription from the old Greek language of an ancestral God of Greek Mythology, or the Ancient God of Light. This God is reported on very little sources, but we discovered him on our old lyceum books.We chose this name because our first program was Lumenis, a program to calculate indoor and outdoor lighting systems.
