KA is a network of students, professors, innovators, and social entrepreneurs. We believe that access to education is the key to human flourishing, a value shared universally in China. Currently, education in China is dominated by conglomerates that exploit this value for profit. Our mission is to disrupt the Chinese education industry by decentralizing access to information. We are creating a peer-to-peer platform for students to connect with our global network so that they can develop their own organic perspectives of the world. Tapping into the Kai Alpha Network provides a gateway for collaboration and integration of cultures. Projects that are being created within the network include e-learning lectures, virtual writing centers, and international summer programs. Power comes with numbers. We are recruiting students, professors, and professionals alike with an international mindset and a desire to create brighter opportunities for the next generation.In the Summer of 2018, KA will be holding the first annual Kai Alpha Summer Seminar in Beijing for students applying to U.S. colleges and universities. There will be two 1-week sessions between August 5th and August 18th. We have invited professors from top Universities, including MIT, Harvard, and Tufts to provide morning lectures in their areas of expertise. In the afternoon, the KA team will work closely with the students to craft their college application essays.
