KAIMIN is an eponymous, female-founded, high-tech women's fashion label based in New York City, which promotes diversity and inclusivity, working with iconic artists, including Bjork, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and many others. KAIMIN is focused on channeling its acclaimed design aesthetic and image into building digitally-native product verticals to reshape traditional retail & improve customer experience & value.The brand was founded in 2016 by the part-South Korean, part-Japanese designer Kaimin, whose futuristic designs use elements of subculture & punk to create a surreal demeanor that is still delicate & feminine. The KAIMIN brand is thoroughly intertwined with digital communication, lauding and leaning heavily on technology in its work, including content, branding, and analytics (digital art, AR/VR, data science). KAIMIN utilizes innovative and sustainable materials as well as cutting-edge production techniques (3D-printing, laser cutting, etc.). KAIMIN recently launched the SLFF KAIMIN line to bring its design language to a wider audience, featuring the Stratasys x SLFF KAIMIN 3D Print Denim Collection, which aims to democratize additive manufacturing technology for garments. This was the first time ever a polyjet geometry was printed directly onto denim.
