The KAIZEN Institute of Zambia Limited (KiZ) is an emerging unique organization established to fast track the promotion of quality and productivity improvement and business excellence in Zambia so as to enhance Zambia's international competitiveness. Its was registered in 2013 under Cap 388 of the laws of Zambia as a Company Limited by guarantee, whose members are Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry. As an entity, KiZ will contribute to attainment of Zambia's development aspirations of becoming a prosperous middle income country by 2030 and SMART Zambia Now campaign through promotion of the KAIZEN philosophy and method widely in Zambia and to engender a culture of continuous improvement among private and public sector organizations.
