Kalaikal Creative Arts also known as KCA is a not for profit organization focusing on the arts. Kalaikal (Ka-Lai-Kal) "the arts" from the ancient Tamil language is a single word that encompasses the many different forms of arts. There have been numerous talent & dance shows within our community but none based around a competition. What started out as a brainstorming session developed into a team of people who had the passion to make this event a reality with many more visions in mind for the organization. These passionate individuals along with referrals from college & university Tamil Students' Associations (TSA) founded Kalaikal Creative Arts (KCA) the organization that will host Kalaikal and serve as a new medium for arts based projects and community goals. From day one this organization is determined to make Kalaikal not just another dance or talent show but a unique event, an event focusing on unity, identity, and charity for all students across Canada and world wide. Today KCA prospers in its desire and need to unite in order to honour the arts and utilize it to initiate projects for the betterment of our social trends. Striving to bring creative arts to a new elevation and use it as a means to pave the way to good will ambassadorship amongst the greater community.
