The experience acquired through our departments of Historic Preservation, Facade Restoration and Comprehensive Rehabilitation, supports our international expansion with projects that include interventions in more than 30 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Spain's rich and diverse cultural heritage, which Kalam has helped preserve through our work, serves as a solid reference valued globally in countries like Chile, the Dominican Republic, Perú, Mexico, Angola, United States, Portugal and the Netherlands; where we have registered or sales offices. We work for both public and private clients, such as relevant preservation associations and insurance companies; who value reliability, adherence to deadlines and risk prevention on job sites. With our Risk Prevention and Project Development departments, we provide technical assistance and consultancy to both clients and preservation professionals during the assessment phases. It is worth noting, that we also fabricate and reproduce ornamental elements in our reproductions workshop, and have the ability to set up on-site workshops when necessary, to support jobs that are either very large or require a high degree of specialization. Among our distinctions, we can highlight the recognition in 2016 with a Special Mention in the category of Dedicated Service to Heritage, or the 2018 Conservation Award for the restoration of the Façade of the College of San Ildefonso, in Alcalá de Henares; both at The European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards.
