Since its beginnings in the year 2005, Kalama literary agency has represented more than 50 authors and worked with the most relevant actors in the Italian book industry as well as with the main independent publishing companies in the country. In addition to providing the full services of a literary agency, such as the negotiation of initial and subsequent rights, it also offers a wide range of editorial services including reading and evaluating a manuscript, professional book editing and editorial consulting. The agency is also involved in the organization of cultural festivals and oversees writing and editorial workshops. Since 2018 we also represent several foreign publishers and authors in Italy.
