The Kalyani Group (KG) with its flagship company Bharat Forge is a well-known Engineering conglomerate. Leveraging on this knowledge and expertise, KG has established KS as a new self-sustaining Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET) initiative. It will set up with the objective of vocationally skilling the youth of this country and making them productive. The KS team uses its knowledge & experience in vocational skill training program which covers advance skilling like Robotics, Mechatronics, etc. over and above basic skilling like turner, machinist, machinist grinder, fitters, welders, electrician etc. technician professions.Kalyani Skills (KS) is a National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) affiliated skilling institute. Its various international partners will enable delivery of quality and modern education to prepare an "Industry ready workforce". KS will involve all stake holders to take the cliché "Industry-Academia relationship" to a new level with the industry contributing to the course content, curriculum, internship, on the job training, equipment, etc. KS will be truly an industry integrated vocational skilling institute encompassing basic skilling, re-skilling and advance-skilling. It aims to enhance industrial productivity by providing innovative skilling programs to the entry level technicians as well as existing workforce. It will provide technical skilling assistance to Manufacturing, Engineering, Auto & Auto components, Building & Construction, Textile & Garments, Oil & Gas, Marine industry etc. In association with NSDC,KS will establish the skilling/training centers on pan India basis. KS will operate through Hub & Spoke Model. The institute will offer modular vocational programs of duration ranging from 1 week to 24 months.
