The Kanata Food Cupboard is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization. Our primary mission is to provide the healthiest possible food choices to individuals in need of food assistance by engaging and inspiring our Kanata community.We are supported in our work by an enthusiastic and committed volunteer crew, two dedicated staff and governed by a volunteer board of directors with a broad spectrum of expertise, knowledge, and experience. Over 80% of our funding comes directly from local residents and companies, a testament to the goodwill and generosity of our caring community.As a welcoming organization, we serve the community regardless of race, ethnicity, ability, age, sexual orientation or religion.
