Welcome to Kandarian Organic Farms! Located on California's beautiful Central Coast, our company provides exquisite organically grown food to like-minded folks. We produce only organically certified ancient grains & seeds, herbs, spices, peas & beans and gourmet pollens. No GMO's. No funny business. We believe in simple, healthful, local food, fresh from our fields to your kitchen. Who is the man on the tractor? That's Larry Kandarian, the man with a mission. A farmer for over 25 years, he never stops moving and doing. From mechanical engineering to the flower seed business to sustainable, organic, Earth-friendly farming, he has a wealth of knowledge and is a passionate steward of the land. What does Kandarian Organic Farms grow? We produce ancient grains: Emmer Farro and Einkorn, specialty grains: Black Barley and Triticale, grow superseeds: Chia and Flax, and herbs and spices: Coriander and Tarragon. Perhaps our most special crops are fennel and dill, from which we offer Dill Weed, Dill Seed, Fennel Herb, and our delectable gourmet edible Fennel and Dill Pollens, a spice hand collected from their tiny yellow flowers. Gourmet Edible Pollens We are very proud of our fennel and dill pollens, grown organically and sustainably on the California Central Coast. It takes many tiny flowers to produce even a small amount of pollen. Harvested by hand and carefully cleaned and dried, this spice is almost as costly as saffron. The flavor? It's fantastic - sweet, bright, and wonderfully aromatic. Where can I get some of that goodness? Good question!
