Kaneka PHBH™ is a 100% plant based biopolymer produced via a revolutionary bio-fermentation process using renewable plant oils as feedstock. Kaneka PHBH™ can replace common plastic products such as plates, straws, cups, cutlery or any other single use items. Our grades can be used in traditional extrusion, injection molding and blown film applications. Kaneka PHBH™ is bio-based, strongly resistant to heat and can act as a barrier to water vapor.Kaneka PHBH™ grades are stable under every day usage conditions. When no longer needed, and given the right conditions under either aerobic, anaerobic or marine conditions in the natural environment, they will begin to degrade and will convert back into nature.
